PROJECTS IN MEXICO
Future development in Mexico is an essential mid-term objective set in place by Caribe Hospitality’s expansion plan. The size of the market and the potential opportunities that exist represent an exciting challenge for the company.
Mexico is currently home to six Courtyards by Marriott hotels and each of these operations has achieved great success. Given the brand acceptance, Marriott International has decided to work in part with Caribe Hospitality to expand its Courtyard by Marriott hotel concept in the Mexican Republic by 2013.
Therefore on December 2007, Caribe Hospitality signed a Development Agreement with Marriott International to build a total of 20 hotels in select industrialized cities in Mexico.
As a result of this agreement, Caribe Hospitality has already selected three cities for the introduction of the brand in Mexico. More information of these selected sites can be found on the table below.
